State fees set for provision of communication services requiring licensing

Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev signed a decree on activities requiring licensing. The list of activities requiring licensing (except for public security – related activities) and the amounts of state fees for obtaining licenses for conducting these activities were approved by President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev’s decree of December 21, 2015.

Provision of communication and TV-radio broadcasting services is also included in the list of activities requiring licensing.  Amounts of state fees differ depending on the type of service.

Thus, 2500 manat fee was set for provision of fixed phone services, 2500 manat for radiotrunk  and wireless telephone services, 5500 manat for mobile communication services, 4000 manat for IP-telephony (Internet telephony), 2500 manat for domestic telecommunication channels, 5500 manat for international telecommunication channels, 3000 manat for data transmission, 1250 manat for express mail services, 5500 manat for nationwide television broadcasting, 2250 manat for TV broadcasting within Baku city, 1500 manat for regional television broadcasting, 2500 manat for nationwide radio broadcasting, 1250 manat for radio broadcasting within Baku city, 500 manat for regional radio broadcasting, 500 manat for additional information broadcasting, 1500 manat for broadcasting via a cable network serving up to 5000 subscribers,  2500 manat for broadcasting via a cable network serving more than 5000 subscribers, 500 manat for satellite broadcasting, 500 manat for satellite broadcasting of foreign TV and radio channels with the use of coding devices.
