Azerbaijani delegation, headed by Minister of Communications and High Technologies Ramin Guluzade, took part in the TIBO-2016 International Specialized Exhibition and Forum on Information Technologies taking place in Minsk, the capital of Belarus on April 19-22 of this year. The delegation included about 40 representatives from public, private and non-governmental organizations.
Note that TIBO-2016 exhibition which has been held for the 23rd time is considered one of the largest ICT event in the CIS and Baltic states.
The opening ceremony of the event was attended by Prime Minister of the Republic of Belarus Andrei Kobyakov, Minister of Communications and Informatization of the Republic of Belarus Sergei Popkov, Minister of Communications and High Technologies of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ramin Guluzade as well as senior officials of other countries in this area.
As part of the VIP tour organized at the exhibition, the officials visited the Azerbaijani national pavilion, familiarized themselves with innovations achieved in our country in the ICT field.
Moreover, within the framework of the exhibition the 3rd Belarusian-Azerbaijani ICT Forum was held between the Ministry of Communications and High Technologies of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Ministry of Communications and Informatization of the Republic of Belarus with the participation of IT companies of both countries.
